Valhalla Athletics is proud to announce the hiring of Jason Carter, a highly accomplished former professional athlete and one of the most respected football coaches at the high school level.
Jason Carter was a standout collegiate athlete at Texas A&M and was rated the #1 dual-threat quarterback in the state of Texas during his high school career. He went on to play in the National Football League with the Minnesota Vikings (2005–2007) and the Carolina Panthers (2007–2009), before concluding his professional playing career in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts from 2009–2010.
Following his playing career, Carter has built an elite coaching résumé, compiling over 15 years of success at the high school level. He is widely recognized for his expertise in player development, college recruitment, team building, and strength and conditioning. Known as a turnaround specialist, Carter consistently delivers immediate results, establishes a winning culture, and has a strong reputation for helping student-athletes earn Division I scholarships.
